ROCKY FORD -Rocky Ford Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured Sunday night.
Rocky Ford Police Officers and deputies with the Otero County Sheriff’s Office were called to Main Street just before 9 p.m. on a person who was shot. Dispatch also received multiple reports of shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim in the 100 block of Pine Ave. The victim, later identified as Robert Herrera from Rocky Ford, was transported to a local hospital.
It is unknown what led up to the shooting as this is an ongoing investigation.
