The Pueblo County Coroner has released the name of the man who died when his boat capsized in Lake Pueblo.

He was identified as 69-year-old James Igoe of Pueblo West. An official cause of death has not been released. Park Rangers and Pueblo County deputies searched near the North Shore Marina for Igoe after a call came in around 12:30 p.m. Monday about a possible capsizing and drowning.

Rangers told News 5, anglers fishing around the north picnic area reported seeing a small aluminum boat, hearing a loud noise, a call for help, and saw at least one person in the water.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife had to suspend search efforts after two days and were finally able to recover the body using hi-res sonar and specialized dive teams on Wednesday. The boat capsized in deep water and the body was found in 100-plus feet of water.
