A new mural was unveiled Tuesday at the Pueblo Riverwalk in an effort to combat mental health issues and high suicide rates.
The display features the words "We are in this together" in varying designs. It’s a message that’s meant to encourage others to seek the resources they need and to eliminate the stigma around mental health issues.
The mural was a collaboration between local artists and organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo.
It’s also part of Kaiser Permnaente’s "Find your words" public health awareness campaign, which aims to cut suicide rates and start a conversation about mental health.
