Here in Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has been lucky enough to partner with the local health systems in Colorado Springs, and the Rocky Mountain Vibes baseball team coming together to host a personal protection equipment (PPE) drive in Colorado Springs this upcoming Sunday, March 29th at UCHealth Park - Home of the Rocky Mountain Vibes located at 4385 Tutt Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80922.

Entrance for Donation Drop-Off is at the corner of Tutt Boulevard and Barnes Avenue. Volunteers will be out there Sunday collecting donations and right now we are asking for the following unused items:

  • Eye protection & goggles

  • Face shields

  • Surgical masks

  • Sterile & non-sterile gloves

  • Disposable gowns

  • N95 Masks

  • Sanitation Wipes

  • Personal Wipes

Donations made on Sunday will benefit and be distributed to ALL hospitals in the Colorado Springs area.

After donations are made, donors are asked to visit to request a donation receipt vs. getting one handed to them in-person to prevent transmission. Our volunteers will also be separated a safe distance apart and they are happy to unload the donations without the donor leaving the car. All PPE drives will be staffed with an on-site medical professional to ensure we are taking the proper precautions to keep ourselves as well as our donors safe.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting Project C.U.R.E., their partners, and their local communities during this extraordinary crisis. In over 30 years, and as the world’s largest distributor of donated medical equipment and supplies, Project C.U.R.E. has never experienced a time when the need for global public health was more important.

While our mission typically has us focused on under-resourced countries, Project C.U.R.E. has been fielding an unprecedented number of requests from emergency medical services, hospitals, clinics, fire departments, and assisted-living communities across the United States. In response, CEO Doug Jackson has pivoted Project C.U.R.E. 180-degrees to focus exclusively on combatting the catastrophe that threatens the health of the America people. We’re making our substantial medical inventories available domestically, particularly in the regions and surrounding areas that host our distribution warehouses: Denver, Houston, Phoenix, Nashville, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Kansas City.

Our firefighters, nurses, doctors, and public health workers desperately need help, and Project C.U.R.E. as well as its partners, will support their heroic, lifesaving efforts, primarily through the procurement and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Last weekend, our PPE drive at Mile High Stadium in Denver yielded 27 pallets of desperately needed supplies in four hours. Because of the success we saw in Denver, we’re planning similar events in the next few weeks in Colorado Springs, Houston, Phoenix, Chicago, and Nashville.

n top of our PPE Drives, Project C.U.R.E. is actively seeking PPE via our website and loaning out ventilators, respirators, and other COVID-specific equipment to hospitals and clinics. The most urgent unmet need is procurement of N95 masks. Through our longstanding relationships with overseas suppliers, we can purchase them in bulk at $3 per mask delivered to our warehouses. For those companies and corporations that are able, please consider sponsoring a shipment of these essential masks so we can distribute them quickly to where they're needed most.

With traditional funding sources overburdened and healthcare facilities unable to purchase or fund supplies, it’s critical that corporations join with us to protect the health and economy of the United States. To continue operating our warehouses and truck deliveries, we need your active partnership. There’s never been a more crucial moment for action than today! We are so thankful to our partners and everyone in the community that have come together to support each other in this crisis.
