...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT
WEDNESDAY...

* LOCATION...the Sangre de Cristo mountains above 11000 feet and
the Wet Mountains above 10000 feet.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...An upper storm system will move across the
area through Wednesday morning, bringing moderate to heavy snow
over the higher mountain areas.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...5 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts
over the Wet Mountains.

* WIND...North to Northeast winds 10 to 20.

* IMPACT...travel will be hazardous due to blowing snow, poor
visibilities and icy or snow covered roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
