A Lufthansa jet nearly crashed when it tried to land at an airport in Hamburg, Germany during a huge wind storm on Saturday. If you've flown in turbulence you'll feel for the passengers. Wind gusts pushed and twisted the plane as it reached the runway. One big gust just as it's about touch down causes the left wing to nearly touch the ground. The pilot aborted the landing attempt and took the plane back up into the sky. About 15 minutes later the jet landed successfully.
None of the more than 130 people on board were hurt, but passengers were offered psychological care by the airline. The plane suffered minor damage.
