The Louisville, Kentucky skyline got a dramatic makeover over the weekend.

Crews blew up the 11-story Humana Building Saturday morning, reducing it to a pile of rubble in just a matter of seconds.

It took 500-pounds of nitroglycerine-based explosives to take down the building.

The building was imploded to make way for the city's new sports arena, which is expected to be completed in two years.
