Des Moines, Iowa's pink menace is no more. Zookeepers have captured a runaway flamingo that recently flew the coop at the Blank Park Zoo.
The staff first realized the flamingo was missing Tuesday morning. It was later spotted at a nearby golf course, where it was chased down and captured.
The zoo's flamingos have their wings clipped regularly to prevent them from flying away, but the feathers grow back at different rates on each bird.
