A North Carolina woman has been rescued after spending five days trapped inside her wrecked car at the bottom of an overgrown ravine.
Dog protected abandoned newborn, doctors say
A dog sheltered a newborn baby abandoned by its 14-year-old mother in a field in rural Argentina until the boy was rescued. The dog had apparently carried the baby 55 yards from where his mother had abandoned him to where her own puppies were huddled. It was just 37 degrees.
