Over 100 homes are still without water Thursday night after a water main break on Astrozon Blvd. in Colorado Springs.
The water main break also created a massive sinkhole that closed the street.
That caused quite a bit of trouble for one driver. A woman driving a truck drove straight into the water, mistaking it for a puddle.
The sinkhole swallowed up the truck and half of the street. No one was hurt, although the truck was slightly damaged.
Because of all that water rushing out, utilities had to shut off the waterline. A small river flowed down Astrozon Blvd. for about two hours.
Police had already section off the sinkhole at around 2:30 p.m., but despite the cones, drivers were coming and going from the apartments and houses in the area.
Astrozon Blvd. will be closed until midnight while crews work to restore services.
