A hungry raccoon in Colorado Springs got a little more than he bargained for when he started licking peanut butter out of an empty jar. The ravenous raccoon ended up with his head stuck inside.
News 5 viewer Richard Evans called the Colorado Division of Wildlife to help free the animal.
"I was kind of worried about the little fellow, worried that he wouldn't get it off of his head," Evans said.
He shared cell phone video of a Division of Wildlife officer freeing him. The raccoon immediately scampered away but wasn't injured.
