Wasson High School students were released early Friday afternoon due to a power outage. Students who walk home, or had parents available to pick them up got out at 2 p.m. Buses ran on schedule. more » -

House fire in Wasson area

Colorado Springs Fire Department is on scene at a house fire at the 2200 block of Lockhaven Drive. Firefighters were called just after 12:30 Saturday afternoon. CSFD tells News First 5 that it took only about 5 minutes to knock down the fire. 24 firefighters responded to the scene.... more » -

Palmer, Wasson, Mitchell and Coronado High Schools are each trying to collect 2,000 pounds of food at the Harvest with a Heart Food Drive over Valentines Day Weekend.... more » -
