Colorado refused waiver on military ballots

The Pentagon has told Colorado Secretary of State Bernie Buescher that it has denied a waiver to exempt the state from a federal requirement to mail ballots to military service members overseas 45 days before the November election. Colorado Secretary of State Bernie Buescher is asking the federal government for a waiver of the 45-day rule to mail ballots to military servicemen overseas for the November election.
