Dog survives 24 hours in underwater air pocket

A four-year-old chihuahua dog survived more than 24 hours under water, by staying in an air pocket of a house boat that sank after hitting a stump. It happened at the Ross Barnett Reservoir the Friday of Labor Day weekend. The dog belongs to 47-year-old Rebel Barrett of Madison. ... more » -
Rabid horse euthanized in El Paso County

A rabid horse was euthanized at a veterinary clinic in Peyton, in eastern El Paso County.
