ARVADA, Colo. (AP) - U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood has signed an agreement committing $1.03 billion in federal funds for two planned light rail lines in Denver. A study has found that mountain lions roaming the Denver suburbs don't live long and, contrary to concerns, aren't switching their diet from wildlife to easier pickings of pets and livestock.
