The Colorado Springs Stormwater Division is asking residents to keep the storm drains clear. This is the time of year when people prune trees and clean up their yards. But if left near a storm drain, that refuse can find its way into the drainage system and even into Fountain... more » -
Sinkhole is not the only sinking problem

A two-foot wide sinkhole on Tejon Street will take a much bigger hole to fix the problem. Until it's fixed, Tejon will be closed from Fountain Boulevard to Mill Street. Crews aren't sure when they'll reopen the road. Engineers fixed this area last year, but it was just a... more » -
Issue 300 adopted

Colorado Springs City Council has adopted Ballot Issue 300 into the city code. A resolution containing an interpreted version of the issue passed on Tuesday by a 6-3 vote with councilmen Sean Paige, Tom Gallagher and Darryl Glenn all cast votes against the measure.
