Wildfire in Grand County continues to grow

A wildfire is burning in the central Colorado mountains, west of Fraser, has grown to 530 acres. The fire was reported Sunday afternoon and residents have been warned to get ready in case evacuations are needed. Right now the fire isn't threatening those homes. ACORN disbanding amid falling revenues

A spokesman for the once mighty community activist group ACORN says the group is disbanding. National ACORN spokesman Kevin Whelan said Monday that the organization's board decided to close remaining state affiliates and field offices by April 1 because of falling revenues. A college threatened by a 13-square-mile wildfire closed Wednesday as flames burned in hills above the campus.
