Two days after the Mountaineer Sky Ride at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo came to an abrupt halt, stranding people who had to be rescued, it's again open to riders. A replacement wire was installed Friday morning and all safety inspections were completed without any issues. more » -
Halted zoo ride blamed on bad wire

The stalled ski-type chairlift ride at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo started Wednesday with a system code error. Operators decided to stop the ride to investigate.
