SILVERTON, Colo. (AP) - A small plane has crashed in the southwest Colorado mountains, killing the man and woman onboard. Silverton, Echo Mountain open for the season

Two more Colorado ski areas are opening for the season. Silverton Mountain in southwestern Colorado and Echo Mountain west of Denver are opening terrain on Wednesday. Echo is offering $29 lift tickets through Dec. 18 while Silverton has $39 tickets. Silverton is also changing its operating schedule and says it... more »
