Boating season begins at the Pueblo Riverwalk tomorrow evening.
Beginning at 5 p.m. a 20-minute boat ride will cost $1. The boat excursions are now in their 12th season.

The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk in Pueblo will be drained soon as part of an annual cleaning project. Starting Monday, March 12, the water will be drained so maintenance crews can scoop out debris and vegetation.

Pueblo's serene riverwalk has turned into an icky swampland. Riverwalk managers are fighting at least two types of weeds that have spread through parts of the river channel.
