Highs climbed rapidly into the 90s and triple-digits in Colorado Springs and Pueblo on Wednesday. Colorado Springs didn't record another record high, but it did put the city on day 38 of highs 90 or higher. Pueblo set a record high of 101 (old record 100 in 1998).
As wind speeds increased, so did temperatures in the NewsFirst 5 viewing area on Saturday. At least 3 cities hit record highs.
