Grade schools closed in Monument

Administrators in Lewis Palmer School District 38 have closed all elementary schools today because of the changing weather conditions. All morning and afternoon kindergarten and preschool classes are canceled as well. The district has been under a 2 hour delayed start for the day. more » -

Bed bug fears temorarily cancel preschool

The Head Start program at Monroe Elementary School in Colorado Springs was closed on Thursday and Friday of last week after teachers learned some of the children in the program live in apartments that are infested with bed bugs.
