    Fort Carson security workers reported a vehicle attempted to get into the base through an entrance near Butts Field Monday afternoon without stopping at the checkpoint. According to the Pueblo Chieftain, the workers admitted to opening close to three dozen letters and stealing nearly $5,000 in cash and gift cards.
