Remember that today, Sunday, September 18, Platte will be closed between Hancock and Union until 12am. This will also be the case for the next two Saturdays. Crews are replacing water drains along the road. All construction is scheduled to be finished by November. Detours are on place. more » -

Work on E. Platte was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 17, but was rescheduled for today, Sunday, September 18. E. Platte is closed from Union Blvd. going eastbound and Handcock Ave. going westbound. Closure runs from 7 a.m. until 12 a.m., as crews are replacing storm drains in that area.... more » -
Injury crash blocking Platte and Union Blvd intersection

Emergency crews are on scene of an injury traffic accident in the intersection of Union Boulevard and E. Platte. The entire intersection is blocked at this time by the crash and crews working on the scene. There are reports of injuries, but it is unknown to what extent. more » -
Platte and Murray closed after tow truck incident

Colorado Springs Police have closed the intersection of Platte and Murray after an accident. Police believe it involved a tow truck and someone who got tangled in the tow truck's rigging. We have a crew on the way and will bring you more as we find out. more » -

Westbound Platte closed due to accidents

The westbound lanes of Platte Avenue closed Wednesday afternoon for more than an hour after two separate accidents near the intersection of Arrawanna Street just west of Chelton Road. Both accident resulted in injuries, but no fatalities. more »
