Two of Colorado's mountain highways should be open in time for the Memorial Day weekend. The Colorado Department of Transportation plans to open Independence Pass between Leadville and Aspen Today. Truck accident closes Loveland Pass

Loveland Pass is closed because of a truck accident. The Colorado Department of Transportation reports it will be a lengthy closure because hazmat crews are off loading more than 7,000 gallons of diesel fuel. The road is expected to be closed for several hours. more » -
