WWII vintage plane crashes in Phoenix

Authorities say a World War II-era plane has crashed at a small airport in suburban Phoenix, prompting an evacuation of parts of the airport. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the single-engine P-51D Mustang crashed into a hangar at Stellar Airpark in Chandler at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday.... more »
