Colorado Springs proposes slashing hundreds of jobs

Jobs will be lost and services cut. A preview of Colorado Springs 2010 budget is out and the impact is ugly. If the budget proposal stands it includes the elimination of most city funded bus routes. Parks and recreation is all but eliminated. Police and fire will reduce staffing... more »
