Commute improves after slippery weekend

Other than some fog very early in the day, the weather had little affect on the Monday morning commute. Roads were dry throughout El Paso County, including over Monument Hill which was covered with fog from about 3:30 - 5:30 a.m. The conditions were vastly improved from Saturday... more » -
I-25 has been re-opened

The multi-car accident that had south-bound I-25 closed for more than 3 hours has been cleaned up. Steve Tobias from Colorado Springs Traffic Control has said that the crash and debris has been removed from bridge and CDOT has placed de-icer on the bridge. All lanes are open on I-25... more »
