School closes in preparation for storm

Schools are already preparing for an icy blast and blowing snow. Monument Academy Charter School will close at 1 p.m. for elementary students and 1:15 p.m. for middle school students. Afternoon preschool and kindergarten are canceled as well as all afternoon activities. more » -

Bodies of three teens pulled from icy pond

Divers have found a third body in an icy western Pennsylvania pond where the bodies of two teenage volunteer firefighters had already been recovered from a submerged vehicle. I-25 has been re-opened

The multi-car accident that had south-bound I-25 closed for more than 3 hours has been cleaned up. Steve Tobias from Colorado Springs Traffic Control has said that the crash and debris has been removed from bridge and CDOT has placed de-icer on the bridge. All lanes are open on I-25... more »
