A Denver homeless man accused of kidnapping hikers near Nederland has been found incompetent to stand trial. A judge announced Thursday that Joseph Scott Carter, 43, was found incompetent by staff at the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo. Man found dead in riverwalk identified

The coroner has identified a man who drowned at the riverwalk in Pueblo. The victim is 46-year old Brett Ekker. Maintenance crews discovered his body in the water last Friday.
