Boulder lands new wind company

A German-based renewable energy company is moving its U.S. wind-energy headquarters from Cleveland to Boulder in September. The company, juwi, already has its U.S. solar headquarters in Boulder. U.S. Olympic Committee leaders have cut the ribbon on their new headquarters, the cornerstone of a $53 million project that will keep the organization in Colorado Springs for the next 30 years. Watch for falling ice. Seriously! The new USOC building at Tejon and Colorado in downtown Colorado Springs has a sloping roof. Apparently, architects thought it would be attractive. Big R locating distribution center in Pueblo

On Tuesday, BIG R announced plans to locate its corporate headquarters and a distribution center in Pueblo. Mike Carroll, Big R's vice president says the company is committed to employing 40 workers, in managerial, administrative and distribution positions. Big R specializes in selling farm and ranch supplies. more »
