Harrison braces for $6 million in cuts

Administrators at Harrison School District 2 are expecting a $6 million cut in state funding for the upcoming school year. That amounts to about 7 percent of their annual budget. School board plans private meeting during pricey trip

The Harrison District 2 School Board is spending over $10,000 of taxpayer's money this weekend for a trip to the National School Board Association Annual Conference in Chicago. While they are there, the board plans to hold a private meeting to discuss Superintendent Mike Miles performance and bonus pay.... more » -
