Fort Carson holds ceremony for deploying troops

Dozens of Fort Carson soldiers are set to start deploying this week to Afghanistan and Iraq. 3,300 Fort Carson soldiers to deploy to Afghanistan next summer

The Department of Defense announced Wednesday that 3,300 soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, from Fort Carson will deploy to Afghanistan next summer.
