Toyota recalls more vehicles in US over floor mat

TOKYO (AP) - Toyota Motor Corp. says it will recall an additional 1.09 million vehicles in the United States over floor mat problems. Toyota said Thursday the fresh recall would affect five models - 2008-2010 Highlander, 2009-2010 Corolla, 2009-2010 Venza, 2009-2010 Matrix, and 2009-2010 Pontiac Vibe. more » -

The government has ordered Toyota and Lexus to recall vehicles because of safety problems tied to removable floor mats.
