The Pueblo Chieftain reports that deals transferring water out of agriculture eventually could dry up one-third of the historically irrigated land in the Arkansas River basin. Food and Drug Administration officials says they have found positive samples of salmonella at the two Iowa farms involved in a massive egg recall.
