Engineer banned from chemistry in explosives case

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A Longmont engineer who repeatedly ran into legal trouble for improper explosives has been banned from pursuing chemistry. A coal train derailed Friday morning in Chesapeake, Virginia, leaving its engine dangling off a bridge. The train apparently failed to stop as it approached a bridge over the intercoastal waterway.
