Mountain View Electric has announced that power has been restored to nearly 200 customers in eastern El Paso County after an electrical storm caused damage to transmission lines near Peyton. Nearly 4,000 trees were collected through this seasons "Treecycle" campaing in El Paso County. That means thousands of Christmas trees were kept out of local landfills. El Paso County says that's a record breaking number.
