A 16-year-old boy who was swimming with friends in the Yampa River drowned Saturday. Moffat County authorities identified the boy as Shannon Wenger of Craig. A woman who drowned in a northern Colorado irrigation canal while trying to rescue her dog has been identified as 23-year-old Brittany R. Schult of the Eden Valley area west of Loveland.
