Harrison braces for $6 million in cuts

Administrators at Harrison School District 2 are expecting a $6 million cut in state funding for the upcoming school year. That amounts to about 7 percent of their annual budget. Colorado Springs residents who are unhappy with the leadership in Harrison School District 2 have launched a recall effort to remove Deborah Hendrix, Linda Pugh, and Richard Rice from the school board. The group is now collecting signatures to get the recall on the ballot. more » -
