A 16-year-old boy who was swimming with friends in the Yampa River drowned Saturday.
Moffat County authorities identified the boy as Shannon Wenger of Craig. A sheriff's investigator says the boy was swimming with friends when the river's current swept him under the water.

Denver Archbishop Charles Chaput has placed a Roman Catholic priest on administrative leave following an allegation of sexual misconduct with a minor.
