A wildfire is burning in the central Colorado mountains, west of Fraser, has grown to 530 acres. A 16-year-old boy who was swimming with friends in the Yampa River drowned Saturday. Moffat County authorities identified the boy as Shannon Wenger of Craig. Denver Archbishop Charles Chaput has placed a Roman Catholic priest on administrative leave following an allegation of sexual misconduct with a minor.
