DENVER (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a 31-year-old inmate in the Larimer County Jail. Corrections officer stabbed at Southern Colorado prison

A Corrections Officer at the Federal Prison Complex in Florence has been stabbed. Our source says the officer suffered non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed three times by an inmate. Alaska corrections officials say an Alaska inmate has died while being held in a private prison in Colorado. The Anchorage Daily News reports the inmate died Sunday at Hudson Correctional Facility.
