Palmer, Wasson, Mitchell and Coronado High Schools are each trying to collect 2,000 pounds of food at the Harvest with a Heart Food Drive over Valentines Day Weekend.... more » -

Grass fire burns in west Colorado Springs

A grass fire broke out at the corner of Fillmore and Grand Vista near Coronado High School this afternoon. It started around 1:45 p.m. It burned between 10 to 20 acres in an open field. Firefighters have the fire under control. They will continue to monitor it for hot spots... more »
