New unemployment claims on the rise

Initial requests for jobless benefits rose last week to their highest level since April, a sign that hiring remains weak and some companies are still cutting workers. Bear captured on Pueblo's east side

Some residents on the east side of Pueblo woke up to find an unusual visitor in their neighborhood. A bear climbed up a tree inside a yard on E. 5th St. by Troy Ave. Pueblo Police, Pueblo Fire and the Division of Wildlife responded. The bear was tranquilized and captured.... more »
