About 25 people protested an annual Columbus Day rally in Pueblo this morning. The protesters show up each year, waving signs and chanting anti-Christopher Columbus remarks. Pueblo's Columbus monument makes National Register

A statue in Pueblo's Mesa Junction area, dedicated to Christopher Columbus, is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Monday morning dozens of people braved the cold weather in Pueblo to celebrate Columbus Day at a statue of the Italian explorer.
