Humane Society managers settle lawsuit

Former managers of the Colorado Humane Society won't be allowed to open more shelters under an agreement with the state. The Colorado Humane Society came under fire in 2008. The state sued the charity, saying it mismanaged funds and euthanized animals to make room for more adoptable pets. ... more » -

More than 500 runners braved freezing temperatures Saturday for Boston's annual Santa Speedo Run. The event was started in 2000 with only five runners. The run raises money for local charities. more » -
