Some teachers in Pueblo may lose their jobs as Pueblo City Schools works to trim its budget. The school board needs to cut about $5.5 million out of the budget for the upcoming school year. Ritter rescinds $7 million cut for needy, disabled

Gov. Bill Ritter is sparing a program that offers aid to needy and disabled Coloradans, as the state looks for ways to close a $320 million budget shortfall. The Aid to the Needy and Disabled program was scheduled to be suspended Jan. 1 for a $7.2 million savings. Ritter said... more »
