Small grass fire in Monument is out

A small brush fire in Monument burned less than an acre before being put out by crews. No structures were threatened. There were no injuries. Cog Railway train trapped on mountain

A Cog Railway train is trapped on Pikes Peak by a grass fire and a downed power line just outside of Manitou Springs. The power line has fallen across the track sparking about a half-dozen fires in remote terrain. The train will not be allowed to return to the station... more »
