Beetle-killed trees to be cleared in Colorado

Gov. Bill Ritter has signed a bill expanding the state's energy portfolio to include biomass. The law signed Wednesday encourages the use of woody biomass, which comes from the byproduct of timber killed by the bark beetle. Rep.
