Record tied in the San Luis Valley

While much of Colorado east of the mountains cooled more than 20 degrees from Sunday's readings, it was a "scorcher" in the San Luis Valley. Alamosa tied its' record high of 89 degrees. That's a record that's been on the books since 1998. more » -

As wind speeds increased, so did temperatures in the NewsFirst 5 viewing area on Saturday. At least 3 cities hit record highs. Record southern Colorado Lows

2 Record lows (at least) in southern Colorado on Friday morning. Pueblo dropped to 25 degrees, breaking the old record of 28 set in 1893 Alamosa logged a 12 degree reading, enough to replace the old record of 17 set in 1961. more »
