Ski instructor found dead at Steamboat

A 23-year-old ski instructor has been found dead at the Steamboat ski area. Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg says that Grace Lynn McNeil of Cedar, Mich., was found dead in a tree well under 2 feet of snow Wednesday morning. Ryg said she likely died Tuesday afternoon. McNeil was a... more » -
Arapahoe Basin opens for the season

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is getting its earliest start on the season ever. The resort was opened Friday with one run and an 18-inch base. Some of the features in its terrain park also will be open. Nearby Loveland Ski Area opened Wednesday, apparently the earliestopening in the U.S. more »
